Industrial Control Panel Building
Precise Controls designs and builds custom industrial control panels for manufacturers across Grand Rapids, Michigan and the broader Midwest. Every enclosure is engineered to the exact requirements of your process — from single-motor starters to multi-bay automation cabinets integrating programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and networked I/O. We treat the panel as the nervous system of your line, so it is built to run cleanly for years.
Standards and components
Our panels are built to UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards using name-brand components — Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, and Eaton. We handle motor control, overload protection, safety relays, terminal wiring, and clear permanent labeling so your maintenance team can troubleshoot without guessing. Proper wire bundling, separation of power and control conductors, and grounded raceways are standard, not optional.
Build and test process
Each build follows a documented sequence: schematic review, layout and enclosure prep, component mounting, point-to-point wiring, and a full continuity and dielectric test before the panel leaves our shop. You receive as-built drawings and a tested, labeled panel ready to drop into your line — no surprises at startup.
Field wiring and startup
Beyond the panel, we provide on-site field wiring and installation assistance — landing conductors, terminating control wiring, and supporting your team through power-up and commissioning. From the shop floor to the production floor, the same hands carry the job.
Faith and craftsmanship
As a faith-based shop, we treat every job as a stewardship — clean work, honest communication, and craftsmanship that holds up over years of operation. Excellence in every job is not a slogan; it is the standard we hold ourselves to on each enclosure we ship.
